Analysis of Microscope data

There are a number of ways that microscope data can be analyzed. We support two software systems for the analysis of data.

For two-dimensional data the best program to use is ImageJ. This is a public domain, Java-based image processing program that can be downloaded from the National Institutes of Health ImageJ site. This program can also be used to perform 3-dimensional analysis of data.

For easy three-dimensional analysis of data we have bought a program called Imaris that specializes in the analysis of 3-D microscope data. More information on this program can be found on the analysis computer and at the Imaris web site.
