Analysis of Microscope data

There are a number of ways that microscope data can be analyzed. We support two software systems for the analysis of data.

For two-dimensional data the best program to use is ImageJ. This is a public domain, Java-based image processing program that can be downloaded from the National Institutes of Health ImageJ site. This program can also be used to perform 3-dimensional analysis of data.

There is a computer that is used for image processing, located in the graduate student room at the 4th floor of the Life Sciences Complex building B.
