Annual Research Day

Set to host this year's Annual Research Day Symposium to be held April 16 to 17, 2020 at the UNT Student Union. This event is where undergraduate, graduate and post-doctoral students can highlight their research, conducted at UNT, alongside a Research Mentor. Participants can submit an abstract for either a 4x4 poster or a 15 minute talk. Presentations will be judged by faculty in attendance.

April 17, 2020, the symposium will culminate with Dr. Martin Chalfie, 2008 Nobel Laureate and Professor from Columbia University.

Dr. Chalfie will present his research "Determining Neuronal Cell Fate in C. elegans" at 3:00 pm in the Student Union Lyceum. He will also deliver a general audience seminar "GFP: LIghting Up Life" at 6:00 pm.
